Trade Contractors Council | Committee of the Board

The Trade Contractors Council is a members-only board committee that serves as the industry's voice, guiding VICA’s initiatives. Through collaborative discussions on topics like regulatory updates and best practices, the council helps shape the future of construction in the region.

Description

Joining the Trade Contractors Council means having a platform to address industry-specific issues, access educational opportunities, and connect with peers who share a commitment to excellence and growth. Council members help inform VICA’s advocacy initiatives, guide educational development, and support networking among trades contractor professionals in VICAs membership.

The Trade Contractors Council serves as a collaborative platform where industry professionals can discuss common experiences, share insights, and strategize on industry challenges, including regulatory updates and workforce issues. The council’s primary role is to open a conversation to enhance the construction community’s resilience, excellence, and success.

In addition to being a valuable advisory body for VICA, the council fosters connections among contractors and supports VICA’s mission to advocate for, educate, and connect its members. By joining, members gain a voice in shaping policies and programs that directly impact their work and receive timely information on industry updates, best practices, and educational resources.
